Baan Bayan - Hua Hin - Sha Extra Plus, Hua Hin

During my stay, I truly enjoyed the breakfast offered at Baan Bayan. While the spread wasn't enormous, it was perfectly adequate and delicious. The egg station prepared fresh eggs, waffles, or pancakes to my liking. The varying fruit options, though fewer than my last visit, were still a pleasant treat to start my day.

I was pleased with my room's size, showcasing a charming blend of old colonial-style decor. The large windows allowed natural light to flood in, making it a cheerful retreat after my days in Hua Hin. Comfort was prioritized, with a cozy bed that offered a restful sleep, which was good!

One of my favorite spots was the Pagoda on the Seafront Terrace. It provided an ideal setting to unwind in the afternoon. The gentle breeze and the captivating sights of kite surfers added a serene atmosphere, making it a good place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The hotel's character was one of its biggest draws for me. Everything from the wooden furnishings to the distinctive tiles throughout the premises added a unique charm. It felt less like a corporate hotel and more like staying in a historic, artsy retreat where I could fully embrace the local culture.
